How do I book a turf?

Open Find a turf → pick your city → tap a turf → pick a date and a time slot → confirm and pay. The whole flow takes about 30 seconds.

What payment methods do you accept?

UPI, all major credit and debit cards, all major Indian wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, Mobikwik), and net banking — all through PayU Money. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported on devices that have them set up.

How will I know my booking is confirmed?

Three ways at once: an in-app confirmation page, an email with directions to the turf and a calendar event attached, and an SMS confirmation. The calendar event includes a reminder 2 hours before your slot.

I need to change my booking — what should I do?

In v1, bookings are non-refundable through the app. If you genuinely cannot make it, email [email protected] with your booking ID and our team will look into it case-by-case. In-app cancellation is on our v1.1 roadmap.

What if a turf cannot honour my booking?

On the rare occasion the turf cannot accommodate your slot, email [email protected] with your booking ID. We will issue a full refund and add ₹100 in platform credit for the inconvenience.

How do I leave a review?

After your slot ends, we send you a notification with a one-tap "rate your experience" link. You can also go to My bookings → past bookings → leave review any time.

My OTP isn't arriving

OTPs sometimes take 30-60 seconds. If you've waited that long, tap "Resend code". If still nothing, your phone might be on a network with delayed delivery — wait a minute and try again. As a last resort, email us with your number.

For turf owners

How do I list my turf?

Tap "List your turf" on the home page → sign in with your phone → finish KYC (PAN + bank/UPI for payouts; GSTIN if you're registered) → use the 7-step add-turf wizard to set name, address, location pin, hours, sports, base price, dynamic per-hour pricing, and GST mode → upload at least 4 real photos. You're live as soon as you finish.

How does GST work?

You set the price you want; we compute the rest. Two modes:

  • GST exclusive: you set ₹700 → user pays ₹700 + 18% GST + ~2% gateway = ₹843 → you receive ₹700
  • GST inclusive: you set ₹700 → user pays ₹700 + ~2% gateway = ₹714 → you receive ₹579 (after extracting GST and the gateway fee)

Pick whichever matches how you want to advertise your price. You can change the mode anytime.

What's dynamic pricing?

You set a base hourly price (e.g. ₹600), then optionally add per-hour overrides — like ₹1200 weekday evenings 6-10 PM, ₹1400 weekends all day. Players see the right price for the slot they pick. Set this in the add-turf wizard or anytime in your dashboard.

What's the Telegram bot?

Our killer feature for owners. You forward any walk-in or phone booking to our bot ("8-10pm tomorrow"), and the slot blocks instantly on Turfgrass — no double bookings ever. Setup takes 3 taps from your dashboard. Set it up here.

When and how do I get paid?

Payouts go to your registered bank account or UPI ID weekly. Each Monday we sum up the prior week's confirmed bookings, deduct what was already taken (GST, gateway), and send you the rest. You can see the breakdown on your Dashboard.

Do you take a commission?

Not right now. We pass through GST and the payment-gateway fee, that's it. You keep everything else. We may introduce a small platform commission later — if we do, we'll give every owner 30 days' written notice first.

Can I block a slot for maintenance?

Yes — go to your turf in the dashboard → tap any slot → "Block this slot". Or use the Telegram bot.

How do I reply to a review?

Owner dashboard → your turf → Reviews → type your reply under any review. Players see your reply alongside the review on your turf page.

Can I embed a 'Book on Turfgrass' button on my own website?

Yes — copy this 2-line snippet and paste it into your site. Bookings flow through Turfgrass exactly as if the user came from us.

An independent India-based team starting with one city (Ujjain) and rolling out city-by-city across India. We're not a venture-funded land-grab — we're building this to be sustainable and owner-friendly from day one.

Where's my data stored? Is it safe?

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Hosted on Railway's cloud infrastructure with daily backups. We comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

Can I delete my account?

Yes — Settings → Account → Delete account in the app, or email us. We delete within 30 days. Booking and tax records may be retained as required by Indian law in anonymised form.

How do I report a bug or suggest a feature?
